BRASS BAND

Overview:

WRPS Brass Band is proficiently led by our band instructor, Mr Chong Yuan Fong and his capable team. Our pupils learn specialised musical skills such as sight-reading skills, music literacy and aesthetics appreciation. We aim to create a fun and safe environment where our pupils can learn, grow and enjoy making music. In addition, the band focuses on important values such as discipline, teamwork and responsibility. We provide opportunities for pupils to develop and grow and student leaders to build their leadership skills, interpersonal skills and management skills. We are constantly looking for ways of providing the best music experience for our pupils so that they will treasure the time they spend with the Brass Band. In 2014, our Brass Band received the Certificate of Accomplishment in the Singapore Youth Festival Arts Presentations.
