HIP HOP DANCE

Overview:

Hip-hop dance refers to street dance styles primarily performed to hip-hop music or that have evolved as part of hip-hop culture. It includes a wide range of styles primarily breaking, locking, and popping which were created in the 1970s.

Our WRPS Hip Hop dancers, “Team Ring Eagles” are made up of junior and senior dancers from P3 to P6. They took part in various competitions such as SYF, PULSE and Super24. Team Ring Eagles also performed for different events like National Day, Prize-Giving Day and Stars Nite. We hope to train the students to appreciate different genres of hip-hop dances and its elements as a culture and as such, able to showcase any dance items with confidence.
