School Rules
The school rules and regulations are designed to state clearly the boundaries of acceptable conduct in school and in society. Students are to observe the school rules and regulations at all times. Enforcement of school rules and regulations is done with the intention of teaching the students to uphold certain standards of dress code and behaviour.
Pledge Taking and Singing of National Anthem
• Students who are Singapore citizens must sing the National Anthem and take the Pledge. Students will recite the Pledge with the right fist over the heart.
• Non-Singapore citizens must stand at attention while the National Anthem is sung and the Pledge is taken.
General Conduct
• Students must be honest, respectful and considerate at all times.
• Students must behave in a way that upholds the good name of the school.
• Students are not allowed to have any weapons in their possession. They are also not allowed to bring any weapon-like items which can be used or intended to be used to cause harm to others.
• Students are to remain in the school premises until they are officially dismissed for the day. Students must not leave the school premises after school while waiting for the start of the next activity. e.g. extra classes or CCA unless parents' special requests have been noted and approved .
• Students are not to bring toys , mobile phones, electronic devices , smart watches* or any other items which may disrupt learning unless special requests made have been approved by the Principal.
• Any items confiscated from students will be returned to the Parents / Guardians.
*Only POSB smart watch maybe worn. (No special smart features)
Attendance and Punctuality
• Students must be punctual for school, lessons and any school-organised activities.
• Any student who comes after 7.30am will be deemed as late.
• Absence from school must be accompanied by a medical certificate or letter of explanation from parents or legal guardians.
Attire and Appearance
• All students must be neat in appearance.
• Students are to wear the prescribed school uniform and modification to the uniform is not allowed.
• The school uniform must be well fitting and to be worn in the proper manner whenever a student comes to school and at all school-related activities (these include those held during the school vacation or outside the school premise).
• Students must adhere to the guidelines on acceptable hairstyle, attire and footwear for school-related activities.
• Male students must be clean-shaven and neat in appearance.
Anti-Bullying Policy
• WRPS adopts a zero-tolerance approach to bullying in all forms.
• Bullying is defined as the deliberate and repeated behavior that causes physical, emotional and/ or psychological harm.
• No one should be bullied and no one should engage in any form of bullying behavior.
• Students and parents may report bullying directly to teachers, counsellor or our school leaders.
• All reports will be taken seriously and handled appropriately.

School Uniform
All WRPS pupils are to wear the prescribed school uniform (complete with canvas shoes and WRPS socks) whenever they enter the school premises for all activities.
